Methods
At MT Højgaard we constantly develop our processes, forms of collaboration and methods – both those that concern clients, consultants and end-users, and those that concern our construction processes.
Focus areas include:
- Health and safety : We insist on a safe working environment. Our working environment objectives thus form an important part of our daily work. Our specific objective is to reach an industrial accident frequency of less than 5 by the end of 2013.
- Sustainability : We contribute to sustainable development. We work continuously on sustainability and constantly seek to develop the best solutions for our clients when we carry out project development, new construction and refurbishment.
- Quality management : We focus on quality management both in our production and in our training of senior staff. All managers are trained internally in project management, so we ensure a standardised procedure and high quality level.
- Public Private Partnership : This type of contract is advantageous for public sector building and civil engineering projects. We have gained experience from several Public Private Partnership projects, including Ørsted School and Vildbjerg School.
- Partnering : A form of collaboration in a building concept where quality, time and price are aligned between the parties before the contract is signed. At MT Højgaard we have developed our own Best Practice for Partnering.
- TrimBuild : A tool to ensure efficient construction management which we have developed ourselves. TrimBuild means less waste, greater efficiency and increased value.
