GreenBuilding
GreenBuilding is a certification given to a new building with low energy consumption. The certification is assigned if the building's energy consumption is 25% lower than current energy requirements when building permission was given.
In order to gain GreenBuilding certification, energy consumption must be 25% lower than the standard for the country concerned. In Denmark this corresponds to low energy building class 2015 according to BR10. The certificate cannot be assigned to residential housing, but only to non-residential properties such as schools.
GreenBuilding certification focuses on energy aspects. It is an EU-supported project and so the certification itself is gratis.
Three of our projects have now achieved this certification:
Ørsted School on Langeland
KPMG’s new head office in Frederiksberg
LandboMidtØst's new head office in Hinnerup
