Residential Apartments at Frederikskaj 2

In the Copenhagen Sydhavn area, MT Højgaard has created a unique apartment complex with innovative architecture

Frederikskaj 2 is a residential project in the Copenhagen Sydhavn area, which interacts with the water, the city and the beautiful harbour environment. Sluseholmen metro station is close by. The project comprises 145 apartments across seven apartment blocks varying from three to eight storeys. They are located so as to get the best out of the light and the views, with a landscape inspired by dunes and the coast.

Different façades

MT Højgaard built the Frederikskaj 2 residential project on the basis of exciting architecture where each residential block has a classical expression but with a rigorous choice of materials that creates a wide variation in the façades. The apartments have been developed out of the desire to combine functionality with aesthetics. Priority has been given to high quality materials and solutions.

The residential construction at Frederikskaj 2 has a classic look and great variation in the façades.

Attractive outdoor areas

All the apartments have attractive outdoor areas and the surrounding modern landscaping continues the legacy of the original harbour area.

The apartment buildings are on the waterfront and the new Sluseholmen metro station will be a near neighbour. Running alongside the existing wharf, we built a wooden quay with a staircase as well as recreational areas and mooring facilities. A communal building with guest amenities and a dining hall is built on the water.

The 145 apartments in the building are developed with a desire to combine functionality and aesthetics.

Along the quay we are building a wooden wharf with stairs, leisure areas and dock spaces.
