Lincs Offshore Wind Farm

The offshore foundations for this offshore wind farm will be fabricated during 2010-2011 and subsequently installed.

MT Højgaard is carrying out the design, fabrication, transportation and installation of the offshore foundations for the new 250 MW Lincs offshore wind farm.

The offshore foundations will be fabricated during 2010-2011 and subsequently installed.

The value of this new contract is approx. 130 million Euro. This offshore wind farm will be located eight kilometres off the Lincolnshire coastline east of Skegness.

Capacity

Lincs Offshore Wind farm will comprise of 69 3.6MW turbines. The wind farm will be capable of generating electricity for around 170,000 households annually.

Six additional foundations located within the sight of one of our earlier projects Lynn & Inner Dowsing Offshore Wind Farm, are also included in the contract.
