Athletic facility, Tórshavn

MT Højgaard is carrying out the athletic facility of 2,200 m² primarily designed for gymnastics, workout and performance. The gym is part of the sport complex Tórsvøll at Tórshavn.

Multifunctional facility

The concrete building is integrated into the landscape at the end of the Faroese national football stadium. This unusual location entails a possibility for the building to function both as backstage for larger concerts and as a grandstand for other outdoor activities. You can access the gym via the roof. From the seats at the interior balcony you will get a good view of the inside activities. The athletic facility will be completed at the beginning of 2010.
