MT Højgaard built a new and flexible head office for Føroya Tele who wanted to combine all of their activities in one place.

Flexibility adapted to the environment

The new head office was to serve several functions whilst remaining flexible so it could be adapted to the shifting environmental conditions in the region. This required particular construction conditions and is why the head office is built in two building constructions comprising 6,666 m2 in total.

The head office contains both administrative work stations in an open-plan office, teletechnical workshop facilities and a reception area, common room and a canteen. In addition, the head office contains a hall building with a central warehouse, a car repair shop and a technical control room.

Public-Private Partnership as a form of co-operation

Føroya Tele’s head office was constructed in early partnering with a focus on project optimisation and keeping on schedule.
