The Hurawalhi Maldives Resort was a large and complex project in which we combined some of our core competencies.

On the Hurawalhi Maldives Resort project, we have applied competencies and used experience we have gained from working on other projects in the Maldives as well as the rest of the world. The foundations for the 60 villas are precast elements from our own precast yard. Some in-situ casting was also necessary on the project, for instance the pool bases.

The world’s largest all-glass underwater restaurant

All of the work on the project was done over and in water, with all the difficulties of marine works. We built four jetties for the resort, one of them leading to a restaurant which is connected to the world’s largest all-glass underwater restaurant 5.8 m below sea level.
