This white paper presents an analysis of the extent and nature of the critical clashes in 3D design of construction and infrastructure projects in Denmark. The analysis shows a picture of a practice where the contractor receive projects with up to 33,000 critical clashes. The white paper also describes how it is possible for the industry to solve this by earlier involvement of the contractor in an effective digital collaboration with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
