Refurbishment with the residents in mind
MT Højgaard is responsible for the refurbishment of 297 residential properties in Åbyhøjgård in Aarhus. As well as improvements to façades, the indoor climate and energy consumption, we are also converting three of the residential blocks into spacious homes, particularly suitable for the elderly or disabled.
In order to ensure a successful outcome, we are in close contact with the residents of Åbyhøjgård so that, to the greatest possible extent, they can follow the progress of our work and when it is taking place. Not only does this engender confidence in the project, but also creates the peace of mind that is essential for a successful outcome.
Location-based planning eases the process
We have deployed location-based planning, which ensures an optimised timetable and shortens the duration of the refurbishment.
The planning also ensures that any information provided to the residents is specific in terms of where and when works are taking place – which, of course, is to their benefit.
