The buildings are torn down and then rebuilt in a future-proof version. The original buildings had problems with moisture in the foundation, weaknesses in the building and inexpedient constructions and materials. The new housing will be healthy and create value and meaning for the people who live in Skoleparken. That is why the project is specially focused on improving the indoor environment and the energy utilisation.

The housing will look like itself from the outside, but on the inside significant improvements will be made to make it more functional. 52 of the apartments will moreover be built as accessibility housing.
Focus on the residents
The rebuilding is done in stages. That demands consideration and receptiveness from the contractor. Many residents stay in Skoleparken while we renovate other parts of the housing. That means that we pay particular attention to the residents who have their everyday life in Skoleparken, and we make sure to establish safe access paths to the housing.
