Internal collaboration as a driving force

Collaboration and communication are the foundation of a successful project. And it starts with ourselves.

Our ability to function optimally as a team on our projects is crucial for both our job satisfaction and our performance. That’s why we put a lot of effort into creating the best possible teams within our organization.

The team model emphasizes strong internal collaboration.

How do we create the best teams around our projects?
How do we successfully guide a project through all its phases -from tender to contract, planning to execution, and execution to delivery?

To ensure optimal project outcomes, we rely heavily on skilled and engaged colleagues who thrive through close collaboration on the project. That’s why we base our approach on Tuckman’s team theory, where everyone in the team develops a shared understanding of the team’s current stage, why collaboration can sometimes be challenging, and, most importantly, what it takes to build a strong team on each individual project.

When starting a new project, we conduct an onboarding process so the project team gets to know each other’s profiles and roles—everything aimed at strengthening team spirit and cohesion. From there, the team works on a plan to ensure effective collaboration throughout the project.

The project always comes first

We bring together our organizational expertise into one unified project team, where internal collaboration is key to fostering well-being, cohesion, and progress in daily work.

We have eliminated the internal silo mentality and placed projects at the top of the agenda. On all our projects, there is only one combined budget and one unified project team. Everyone works towards the same goals and planning, and all are expected to support each other across responsibilities, roles, and areas of expertise.

On each project, we continuously measure the collaboration climate through our ProjectPulse, and the team uses these insights to openly address challenges as they arise throughout the project’s lifecycle.

For larger projects, we appoint a steering committee consisting of relevant colleagues tasked with advising, supporting, and assisting the project manager. The steering committee acts as a kind of “board” for the project.
