MT Højgaard's Building Component Catalogue with LOD levels has been developed to help the parties on construction projects to clarify and specify the content of building models in relation to geometry.

The building component catalogue can profitably be used with the document Model Progression Specification (MPS). In the MPS you can define which level of development for geometry (LOD) the individual building components must be at in a given phase, as well as who is responsible. In addition, it is possible to specify exactly which properties are required for the individual building component in a given phase.

Version 5 of the building component catalogue is practical and efficient in its use, and information management is strengthened in this version. The focus of version 5 has been to make the requirements for each LOD level simpler and clearer. Together with the MPS, version 5 of the building component catalogue is an effective tool for project parties in relation to handling geometry and properties in models.

The building component catalogue and MPS are published in Danish and English and are updated on a regular basis. Previous versions of the building component catalogue have also been published in several other languages. The building component catalogue is for inspiration and may be used if the source, MT Højgaard, is indicated. Full or partial copying of content is only legal by written agreement with MT Højgaard.
