Healthy indoor climate and good light conditions
In the construction we have prioritised a healthy indoor climate with high quality, sustainable materials, low energy consumption and efficient heating. Good daylight conditions is another key parameter, which provides the residents with social and functional value. The outdoor spaces are equipped with facilities for various age groups, offering a vibrant courtyard with diverse social activities.
Upgrade for the entire area
The project at Hummeltoftevej has been developed in partnership with Freja Ejendomme A/S, Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality and with extensive involvement of the residents. MT Højgaard has had the option to buy the site and has been working on the development of the project for some time.
The finished project contributes to the upgrading of the entire area around Sorgenfri Station, which will be even more attractive for future home owners and the business community.
New life for the former police station
The building is constructed on the site of the former Lyngby Police Station. Construction has therefore taken place in an area where land is rarely offered for the construction of new builds and where there is now a framework for a safe and green environment close to the station and to Lyngby’s dynamic centre, a short distance from Copenhagen.
