They bring energy, positivity and plenty of creativity to our projects. They solve tricky challenges, find clever loopholes in the rules and come up with team names as if there were no tomorrow. In short, our apprentices are something special.
That became even clearer at this year’s Apprentice day, an annual event where apprentices from across MT Højgaard Danmark come together for a day focused on something other than work.

The day is all about building relationships, expanding professional networks and getting to know fellow apprentices from across the company. We believe that strong connections and a strong sense of community make everyday working life even better.

Markus found his passion when he traded the workshop for the construction site

At 18, Markus thought he was going to become a mechanic. But when he found himself working in a garage, he realised it was not the right fit for him. Today, he thrives outdoors on construction sites as a building construction apprentice.

His first goal is to complete his apprenticeship. Looking ahead, he dreams of becoming a certified drainage contractor, allowing him to approve and sign off on the work he carries out himself.

But what does a typical day look like for Markus as an apprentice? And who is behind his eye-catching red Renault Clio?

Anders was close to receiving his journeyman’s

The road to qualification was not without its challenges, and there were plenty of surprises along the way.
Watch the video below to see how Anders got on in both the theoretical and practical parts of his final examination.
