Strategic partnerships with a focus on transparency

The core idea behind a strategic partnership is that the client and the companies involved maintain an open and flexible collaboration with financial transparency.

In practice, this means the client has a larger pool of construction and renovation tasks to be completed over several years. We then price each task individually, calculating a target price within an open accounting system that the client can access, which includes all costs for labor and materials.

If the final cost turns out to be lower or higher than anticipated, the contractor and the client share the savings or losses according to pre-agreed terms. Typically, a risk allowance is established from the outset, which can be used on projects where the scope of work proves more extensive than expected.

Increased trust and improved planning

In our partnerships, we act as the contractor within a dedicated team that also includes a consultant, an architect, and an installer.

By working together with open accounting books, we eliminate much uncertainty, which increases trust and, consequently, job satisfaction. At the same time, this way of working strengthens our ability to plan effectively.

Although task costs may fluctuate, experience shows that open accounting often ensures relatively accurate pricing. The transparency also enhances the client’s ability to plan, as they gain a clear understanding of the associated costs for each individual task.

In the partnership "Sammenholdet," we are upgrading the Capital Region of Denmark’s building stock. Currently, we are painting a psychiatric ward in Copenhagen.

Greater value in construction and renovations

MT Højgaard Denmark is part of major strategic partnerships where we collaborate with the Capital Region of Denmark, Furesø Municipality, and several prominent Danish companies, united by a common goal of delivering more construction and renovation value to the client.

Our largest project is Sammenholdet, where we work for the Capital Region in partnership with Rambøll, Kemp & Lauritzen, and Link Arkitekter. Together, we renovate and build new hospital facilities to benefit the citizens of Copenhagen.

As our collaboration has deepened, we have leveraged repeat efficiencies that have increased our productivity, enabling the client to get more construction and renovation for their investment.

We are renovating Børnehuset Lyngholm as part of our strategic partnership with Furesø Municipality.
