Become a graduate

Do you want to be equipped to take on challenging tasks in the construction and civil engineering industry and start your career at ‘The best place in the industry’? Then MT Højgaard Danmark’s graduate programme could be the right opportunity for you.

Become a graduate

Our graduate programme is aimed at recent graduates – primarily engineers and architectural technology and construction managers.

The graduate programme typically lasts 3–3.5 years. During the programme, you will rotate between several specialist areas and spend approximately one year in each. For MT Højgaard Danmark, the graduate programme is a strategic investment that gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as project management, production management and tender calculation.

We tailor the rotations based on your skills and development needs, while also aligning them with our business needs and focus areas. This gives you a unique insight into our business and different disciplines and enables you to create value from day one.

As a graduate at MT Højgaard Danmark, you will build a broad network of highly skilled and dedicated colleagues whom you can learn from and spar with. You will also become part of our graduate network, which meets for both professional and social events. It is a network where you can also discuss the challenges and opportunities typically encountered as a graduate.

About you

You are a recent graduate or about to graduate as a Bachelor or Master of Engineering, an Architectural Technology and Construction Manager, possibly with a Master’s degree, or a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering.

If you have already completed your studies, you will have worked for no more than two years in the construction and civil engineering industry.

You focus on collaboration and on creating results. You want to work for MT Højgaard Danmark not only because we have large and exciting projects, but also because you are interested in contributing to our strategy of being ‘The best place in the industry’.

You have the ambition and commitment to help create efficient processes and optimal solutions for MT Højgaard Danmark and our customers.

You are motivated to pursue a career with MT Højgaard Danmark. As a person, you are both curious and ambitious, and you thrive in a collaborative and changing environment.

Guidance and onboarding

As part of the programme, you will be matched with an experienced colleague who can act as your role model and sparring partner for work-related questions, both professionally and personally. You will also have access to career guidance from our HR department according to your wishes and needs.

When you start, you will take part in our onboarding programme, which includes, among other things, a two-day introduction programme in Copenhagen.
