Visionary CLT construction handed over to researchers in Lyngby

The 10,600-square-metre research building in Lyngby was developed in close collaboration with DTU. This meant working side by side with the client throughout the project, with full financial transparency. We believe this collaborative approach can add significant value to many types of construction projects.

DTU B313 is one of the largest timber constructions in Denmark, with more than half of the structure built using CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). The seven-storey building was carried out as a turnkey project, drawing extensively on our in-house expertise in carpentry, concrete, earthworks and piling.

The building will receive DGNB Gold certification and is also expected to achieve the DGNB Heart award, which recognises buildings with a strong focus on indoor climate and working environment. Researchers from DTU Energy, DTU Physics, DTU Nanotech and DTU Biosustain can look forward to working in a comfortable and inspiring environment.
