New headquarters for Grundfos

We are constructing a new headquarters and developing a parking facility and 30,000 square metres of landscaped outdoor areas in Bjerringbro for Grundfos and the Poul Due Jensen Foundation.

A strong partnership from the beginning

In 2023, we entered into an agreement with Grundfos to collaborate on the detailed design of its new headquarters alongside AART Architects and NIRAS.

Following a successful partnership, we signed a main contract in early 2025 for the construction of Grundfos’ new headquarters. The building will comprise 13,000 square metres across five storeys and will accommodate 660 employees in Bjerringbro, where Grundfos’ production facilities and other operations are already located.

In addition to the headquarters itself, we are constructing a parking facility with space for approximately 450 cars and developing 30,000 square metres of outdoor areas designed as a park for both employees and the residents of Bjerringbro.

A significant share of the contract delivered by our own teams

In February 2025, we began work on the project, which features a structural system of glulam columns and beams combined with CLT floor slabs and stabilising in-situ concrete cores.

A substantial part of the contract is being delivered by our own production teams, including piling works, earthworks, sewer and drainage works, in-situ concrete and element installation. We are also working with international partners such as Woodconstruction on the installation of the timber elements.

Ambitious architectural and sustainability targets

Grundfos is aiming to minimise the building’s carbon footprint and achieve DGNB Platinum certification as well as LEED Platinum certification. In addition, the building is targeting both the DGNB Heart and DGNB Diamond distinctions. The Heart distinction is awarded to buildings that place special emphasis on occupant well-being, while the Diamond distinction recognises outstanding architectural quality.
