Phase 1 with early contractor involvement and an integrated collaboration model
The new psychiatric hospital in Viborg is currently being designed, planned and priced, with construction expected to begin in early 2027. MT Højgaard Danmark is carrying out this work in close collaboration with the Central Denmark Region, client adviser Artelia, and the consultant team consisting of Rambøll, LINK and SLA.
The early contractor involvement model allows us to bring our practical construction experience into the project already during the design phase and help develop the best solutions in terms of cost, quality and buildability.
The facility is expected to cover 18,000 square metres and, in addition to 112 inpatient beds, will include outpatient treatment rooms and staff facilities.
